how this host works

open protocols: SMTP, IMAP4rev1, CalDAV, and WebDAV, implemented against RFC 5321, 3501, 4791, and 4918. your data leaves the same way it arrived.
no ads, no profiling: your mailbox is not an advertising surface. nothing in it is read, indexed, or sold for anything other than serving it back to you.
transport encryption: every connection is TLS. message bodies are stored as they arrive; if you need end-to-end secrecy, use PGP or S/MIME in your client.
written from scratch: the server is a single self-contained binary with no external mail stack behind it, which is why the whole thing stays this quick.
